Nose
The 2016 Château d'Arche offers a spicy, aromatic nose with crystallised fruit notes.
Palate
Fresh and lively on the palate with wonderful acidity. Orange zest and apricot dominate on the palate. The wine’s clean, pure notes emphasise its vibrant style. A wonderful vintage.
Growing Conditions
After a mild, rainy winter and a cool spring, promising quantities of grapes began to develop. Despite generally cool weather, flowering took place in pleasant sunny conditions in mid-June. Summer descended suddenly, providing ideal growing conditions for the vines. After a dry July, sunshine hit record levels, and August temperatures peaked at nearly 30°C throughout the month, ensuring early ripening.
