Nose

Elegant on the nose with ripe citrus aromas, combined with delicate touches of almond and linden flower.

Palate

Fruity, fresh, mineral and airy on the palate. Quince and crystallised orange notes come through, paired with subtle hints of white peach and a touch of honey and caramel in the finish.

Growing Conditions

2011 was a complex vintage. The spring was the hottest and driest recorded in 50 years, with rainfall of just 80 mm between March and June, compared with the usual 300 mm. These hot, dry conditions meant that the vine cycle shifted a long way forward, with flowering beginning three weeks early. Summer, on the other hand, was cooler with Bordeaux’s traditional rainy periods. This year remains a great success.
