Nose

Beautiful aromatic expression on the nose with fresh fig, apricot and toasted almond aromas.

Palate

On the palate, the wine is lively and fresh in the attack with jammy notes. An unctuous, lingering finish.

Growing Conditions

The 2013 vintage had to contend with capricious weather that was not favourable to producing Bordeaux red wine. However, conditions in the Sauternes region fostered the growth of Botrytis cinerea. Harvests took place during a pleasant, dry period, enabling a pure, fresh and vibrant nectar to be collected.
