Nose

The nose is sophisticated with fruity whirl and a subtle note of vanilla.

Palate

The mouth is dense, gourmand with fine tannins. The finish has got an incredible length.

Bottling

Light filtration before bottling

Winemaking

Selection in the vineyard and after destalking. No crushing, maceration prior to fermentation, mixing and racking.
Long fermentation of skins.

Aging

- 100 % high quality French oak barrels

- 8 different coopers

- 50 % in new barrels and 50 % in one wine barrels

- 14 to 18 months of ageing

Appearance

The 2010 vintage is an amazing vintage with potential and complexity. Château Lalaudey 2010 is a deep dark red jewel.

Food Pairing

Needless to say that there is potential and you will be able to open it in 5 years or more with game or another piece of red meat.
