Nose
The nose is expressive and complex, combining aromas of black fruits (cherry, black currant), spices.
Palate
The attack in mouth is supple, silky. The mouth is rich with crisp and elegant tannins. The finish is long and greedy, marked by morello cherry.
Growing Conditions
It is through ploughing and manual work (pruning, leaf removal) that we obtain a healthy and resistant plant. The vines are surrounded by a double wild hedge, fruit trees and melliferous flowers, to recreate a balance naturally favorable to prevention.
Harvest
The manual harvest is done at perfect maturity, in racks.
Bottling
The bottling is done at the Château.
Winemaking
After a fermentation, faithful to the Bordeaux tradition, the wine builds a balance during an 18 months ageing in barrels.
Appearance
The 2018 vintage has a nice deep color, cherry red, some purple reflects.
