Palate

It is a fresh and complex wine, combining notes of black fruits: blackberries, morello cherries, blueberries, liquorice, pepper. Its attack is silky. In the mouth, we appreciate its good structure with supple and greedy tannins.

Growing Conditions

It is through ploughing and manual work (pruning, leaf removal) that we obtain a healthy and resistant plant. The vines are surrounded by a double wild hedge, fruit trees and melliferous flowers, to recreate a balance naturally favorable to prevention.

Harvest

The harvest was done manually, at perfect maturity.

Bottling

The wine is bottled at the Château.

Winemaking

The yield is voluntarily controlled: 30 hl/ha
The use of vats allows fermentation by the yeasts naturally present on the grapes.
The total sulphur level is very low: 10 mg/l (maximum rate authorized in viticulture: 160 mg/l) and no other product is added.

Aging

It can be enjoyed young, now and within three to five years.
