Nose

Crushed red berries on the nose, with a hint of vanilla

Palate

Light acidity and tannins, a surprisingly refreshing vintage.

Growing Conditions

2018 was a vintage that benefitted from the best conditions during the whole cycle of the vine.

Harvest

Conducted during perfect climatic conditions, the harvest was particularly satisfying.

Bottling

Done at the estate, we use the technical DIAM cork, which guaranties the absence of cork taint from our wines.

Winemaking

Alcoholic fermentation realised in temperature controled stainless steel tanks, with a slow extraction.

Aging

12 months in oak barrels, about 30% new oak

Appearance

Deep ruby colour.

Food Pairing

Given its moderate tannins, this would be perfect with duck magret served with a seasonal fruit coulis, or a very fruity comté cheese.
