Growing Conditions

Vin de Pays de l'Aude is a local PGI and one of the Vins de Pays d'Oc. This is a region that sees sharp climate variations between the ocean, the mountains and the sea, producing a wide variety of wines. It also boasts such historic sites as the City of Carcassonne, the Minervois region and the Corbières mountains with ancient rocks that give the wines a characteristic mineral character.

Predominantly clay and silt on the hillsides and valleys of the Aude region.

Winemaking

The healthy, crushed and destemmed harvest is vinified in the traditional manner. Fermentation and maceration take place at a controlled temperature, with maceration for approximately one week.
