Nose

A fine, powerful and fruity association of berry, strawberry and roasting (mocha, toasted bread).

Palate

The maturity of the grape is emphasized by a lovely balance and a fresh red fruits touch. The wooded notes are perfectly melted, bringing complexity to the long finish, by grilled and toasted accents.

Winemaking

The grapes, picked at perfect maturity, are de-stemmed and lightly crushed. The maceration, which lasts between 15 days and 3 weeks, is done by controlling the temperatures. The draining is decided when the balance of the wine is achieved: nice fruit flavours wrapped into sweet tannins.

Aging

The wine is then matured in stainless steel tanks for 6 to 12 months.

Appearance

Premius Rouge has a lovely raspberry colour with purple shimmers.

Food Pairing

Ideal as an aperitif and with red meat or cheese.
