Nose
Michel Lynch Sauternes offers rich aromas of yellow ripe fruits, dried fruits (almond, apricot) and acacia honey.
Palate
Elegant and fresh, its pleasant structure reveals exotic fruits notes (pineapple, mango). A modern wine with a perfect balance between vivacity and fruitiness.
Growing Conditions
The 2016 vintage was characterised by a mild and damp winter, resulting in widespread early budding. However, this progress was slowed by the arrival of the cool and occasionally frosty spring, with the flowering occurring fairly late and spread out over a long period.
Summer conditions took root in the vineyard from late June onwards. A warm climate helped ensure good concentration in the grapes.
The hot and dry weather until September 13th delays the development of Botrytis Cinerea but the end of the season, alternating morning mists and sunny days allows the grapes to reach an optimal «over-maturity».
They will then be harvested under ideal conditions.
Appearance
Brillant, gold yellow colour.
