Nose

Nose of small red fruits: raspberry, redcurrant.

Palate

Crunchy and fleshy rosé, marked by persistent aromas of raspberries and citrus fruits.

Growing Conditions

The dry spring favorable to the blooming in summer, was followed by periods of hot season which had for consequence a big precocity of the harvest. Indeed, first white grapes were brought in on September 5th, while usually we harvest not before the 15/20 th.

Winemaking

The grapes were harvested by night to preserve the fruity aromas, and then put into carbonic maceration during 12 to 24 hours. After that, we have immediately pressed the Cabernet Sauvignon to make the most of the freshness of the grapes, while we obtained the Merlot by bleeding to privilege the fleshy and the volume of this blending.
