Nose

Refined and generous, with wild berries, vanilla and liquorice. On the second nose, the redcurrant and blackberry notes take on hints of confit orange zest.

Palate

A full-bodied, balanced attack. Ripe, elegant, and generous fruit notes (plum, Morello cherry). A long finish with toasted notes.

- Production Area: Saint-Exupéry - Les Esseintes, 12 hectares in production, 12 hectares in plantation - Type of soil: Clay-silt limestone

Winemaking

Traditional Bordeaux winemaking. Alcoholic fermentation, maceration, pumped over twice daily. Minimum 15 days' vatting at a controlled temperature. Traditional maturing on the fine lees.

Bright, intense purple
