Nose

The intense nose reveals aromas of nuts, such as hazelnut, with heather honey and candied citrus.

Palate

The palate is both concentrated and light, combining unctuosity, fruit flavours and freshness. The finish is consistent, ending with mineral, minty and fruit notes.

Growing Conditions

After a cold, dry winter, the early days of spring were warm and somewhat rainy. The mid-flowering took place on the 15th of June, followed by the colour change in early August. September, on the other hand, was extremely dry.

Harvest

Five 'tries' were carried out during the harvest which began on the 17th of September and ended on the 5th of November.

Aging

35% in new barrels,
35% from barrels of one vintage,
30% in old barrels for 16 months.

Château Suduiraut 2002 presents a golden yellow colour with amber glints.
