Notes of black fruits, especially blackcurrants and blackberries, followed by empyreumatic aromas that range from vanilla to roasted coffee beans.
The wine is lively and generous. A good presence of tannins, and the finish is lingering and flavoursome.
Hand-harvested in small crates with a first sorting in the vines. Pre-fermentation cold soak. Manual pigeages. 15 months’ ageing in barrel.
Deep-coloured, ruby going on garnet.
