Bordeaux Blanc

The estate was founded by pauline lapierre's parents back in 1988. They both have wine backgrounds with families coming from Champagne and Alsace. They decided to launch their own business in Bordeaux because they had fallen in love with the varied and lovely atmosphere, terroir, and grapes of this remarkable region. In 1989, they settled in the medieval village of Rions, at the heart of Premières Côtes de Bordeaux where high quality and complex soils were still available and affordable. 
pauline lapierre started her career working abroad, she finally came back to France and studied oenology in Montpellier. Her partner, William studied wine in Angers. They both took over in 2020. They started to work organically on the historic estate CHATEAU HAUT-RIAN and launched as well LES VIGNES DE COULOUS a smaller organic estate working with biodynamy as well. They now make 12 different wines, all tailored and organic to reflect how magic their terroirs are.
