hâteau de MYRAT 2013 reveals the precision of his harvest by its brilliant style, with fruit both very aromatic and elegant. Exotic and floral on the nose.

A mouth full of finesse with notes of mango and dried apricots; and an extremely long final on lemony flavors that characterize the vintage.

Growing Conditions

Limonestone-clay on fissured limonestone bedrock. Natural drainage.

Uniquely hand-picking, by successive selections throughout the vineyard, picking only botrytised grapes. A superb first picking, a very precise selection this year when rainfall events have marked the harvests.

Slow pressing. Barrel fermentation. Separation of each day’s harvest or batch.

22 months in french oak barrels (1/3 new each year).

Food Pairing

Spicy tapas, shrimps, goose liver, chicken curry, veal, cheeses : blue cheese, stilton, old Comté. Apple or pear tart, fruity dessert (mango, peaches, red fruits...).
