Located in the town of Saint Sulpice de Faleyrens, 3 km southwest of Saint-Emilion, Château Croix de Bertinat covers an area of 8.3 hectares in AOC Saint-Emilion and 0.3 hectares in AOC Bordeaux. The entire vineyard benefits from a sandy and gravelly soil conducive to the production of high quality wines.
This fruity wine, made from a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%), comes from vines aged 35 on average, planted in a terroir of gravel and clay sands on gravel. Traditional vinification and aging in vats give the wine its roundness and balance.
