Palate

With the very dominant Merlot grape variety (90%), the wine from Château Carpena has good suppleness and
roundness in the mouth with aromas of very ripe red fruits.

Winemaking

Vinification : Traditional with vatting of 2 to 3 weeks, control of fermentation temperatures (20 to 25 ° C), final
maceration.

Aging

12 months in barrels.

Food Pairing

It goes perfectly with white meats, cheeses and also
river fish such as lamprey, a traditional Bordeaux dish.
