A brief history
Chateau Borgeat de Lagrange is a historical estate along the Gironde estuary in Blaye, Bordeaux. Behind its majestic neogothic castle nestles a sustainably grown vineyard. The estate, which also offers high-end accommodation, is an invitation to experience the atmosphere of tasting wine in a fairytale scenery.
The owners, Estelle and Tristan Borgeat, are siblings whose dream was to bring this property back to its former glory. Their adventure started in 2020, when they embarked on the renovation of the castle. The renaissance of the winery was undertaken in 2022 with the purchase of the historical vineyard and the creation of their first wine vintage.
The wine is produced and bottled at the property from estate-grown grapes.
Furthermore, the two siblings have a wine brand, Maison Borgeat, which offers a large range of different wines from the renowned Bordeaux region. All styles of Bordeaux wines are offered: left and right bank, white, red and rosé, dry and sweet wines. They have a wine for every taste!
