Nose
The complexity of botrytis is present. The aromatic nose is delicate, all in nuances, it reveals notes of white fruit then floral notes of acacia, linden, as well as very fine citrus zest.
Palate
In the mouth, the attack is lively, the aromatic complexity is maintained, the middle is structured with a nice tension that lengthens the finish. The wine is discovering itself in delicacy.
Growing Conditions
Spring was mild, mid-March the vine was 15 days early.
The cold night of April 27-28 was a night of anguish. The saying of the family: «Sigalas is not freezing» was confirmed once again: the vineyard was completely unharmed on the morning of April 28.
Harvest
The yields are above the average of the last five years, with a beautiful quality of pure botrytis which once again gives the immense complexity of the wines of Sauternes of Sigalas Rabaud.
