Palate

On the palate, fine herbal aromas are noticeable and a beautiful fullness and juiciness, accompanied by a spicy finish with perfectly integrated, gentle tannins.

Winemaking

The Château Saint Ahon Cru Bourgeois consists of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot.

The special soil structure in the Haut-Medoc produces extremely lively wines that are easy to drink at a young age, but also have a storage potential of about 10 to 15 years.

After the selective hand-picking, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented under temperature control. The wine then matures in new and old French barrels for 12 months.
