A brief history
At the gates of Bordeaux, Château Saint Ahon welcomes you in a charming and friendly setting. Built in the 14th century, owned by Charles de Montesquieu in the 18th century, this Cru Bourgeois was acquired in 1985 by the Count and Countess Bernard de Colbert. Their daughter and son-in-law Françoise and Nicolas Chodron de Courcel moved there in 2003. The third generation arrives with their daughter Alice, responsible for communication and wine tourism at the property since 2017. The winery property and the vineyards in AOC Haut-Medoc are located 20 minutes away from the Bordeaux city center.
