The Pomeys 2018 has a fresh and fruity nose with some mint note,
The palate is very delicate and fine with fresh tannins.
Creamy new oak which makes it nigh irresistible towards the finish. Very fine.
Terroir: Bouqueyran Hill, tertiary gravels (Pyrenean gravel)
Surface: 8.43 ha in production
Late harvest at optimum maturity.
Average age of vines: 25 years old
Light filtration before bottling
Sorting in the vineyard, sorting after de-stemming, no crushing, maceration, pumping and power cuts.
Long fermentation.
- 100 % high quality French oak barrels
- 5 different coopers
- 1/3 in new barrels, 1/3 one wine barrels, 1/3 two wines barrels
- 12 months of ageing
