Nose

Roque de By reveals a lot of freshness with notes of anise and mint and delicate notes of blackberries.

Palate

It offers a wine on the fruit combining a beautiful freshness and a supple tannic structure. Like the nose, the attack is also fresh thanks to the temperament of the acid structure. Tannins, on the other hand, reveal themselves discreetly but accurately; they are tight and provide the aging potential.

Growing Conditions

This superb Cru Bourgeois takes its name from our family's oldest property dating from the 18th century.

Consisting of a mix of deep gravel, clays and limestone, this poor and perfectly drained soil requires suffering and efforts by the vine to create rare aromas.

Soil: Gravel, clay and limestone.

Aging

Thanks to a traditional 12-month breeding, it will be able to keep for nearly 10 years.
