After a brilliant career in the logistics business in St. Petersburg, in 2008 Stan decided to change radically his life. At the age of 35 and followed by his wife, he made a decision to follow his dream in Bordeaux
Full immersion in winemaking, the opportunity to learn in practice from such masters as Georges Paulie and Louis Mitjavile, deep knowledge of all the cycles of natural processes, allowed Stan to create wines with its own character, perfectly balanced, full of ripe fruits and soft tannins
“ I experimented a lot and realized that every vintage has its own personal story and wine is a reflection of this story. My goal is to try to express it in the bottle, regardless of whether the overall opinion considers the vintage as a good one or not, as every vintage is unique ”
Stan’s respect for nature, using organic farming protocols in the vineyard, patience and taking a risk by harvesting as late as possible in order to reach a perfect maturity of the grapes, gentle work with oak and a lot of passion – that’s all make Château la Favière wines recognizable and unique
