Bordeaux

Château Barreyre is located in the Medoc area, in Macau-en-Médoc, bordering the Margaux Appellation and the Garonne. The vineyard spreads over 20 hectares planted with 55% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot on palus (clay) soils. This Bordeaux Supérieur is aged in French oak barrels during 12 months.

A harmonious wine with a very pleasant fruity character, a good balance with a well integrated wood and a high density! The hue is an intense red, the wine is fruity with a nice sweetness sensation. After stirring, we find toasty and smoky aromas with roasted hints, and a wide range of fruity aromas. The attack is straight, the wine is supple and silky, and has a high aromatic persistence.
