Growing Conditions
Plot 784 is located on predominantly clay-loam soil where the vines have been cultivated organically since 2017.
The same care is taken on these small plots as on the rest of the vineyard. After the harvest, green manure
is sown and then the soil is worked in the fall under the feet, " shoeing ". In the spring, the feet are loosened to remove the excess and the established grass. Double Guyot pruning is carried out by the château team . All green work helps shape the vines to optimize and regulate their growth. The harvest takes place between the end of September and the beginning of October, without sulfites. The harvest is mechanical followed by manual sorting on a sorting table.

Winemaking
Plot 784, vintage 2022, is the culmination of organic viticulture and a unique terroir, cultivated with care and passion.
This cuvée, made from 30 ares of precisely selected land, is composed of 70% Cabernet Franc and 30% Merlot. The plot-by-plot vinification allows us to highlight the richness and diversity of the grape varieties.
The 12-month aging in 2-year-old barrels brings additional complexity and a perfect integration of the tannins, without dominating the fruit.
After malolactic fermentation, the wine from " La Parcelle 784 " is directly racked into barrels for 12 months of aging. 100% in 1 to 2 year old barrels from our barrel pool.
Aging
18 months in 2-year-old barrels.
Food Pairing
