A brief history
Extract from Bordeaux and its Wines published by Cocks et Féret in 1929: Remarkably located on the highest point in the wine region, Château Tour Baladoz offers visitors outstanding panoramic views. Located on clay-limestone soil on the Saint-Émilion plateau, Château Tour Baladoz produces wonderfully generous, aromatic, smooth, elegant wines resembling a "grand premier cru" in every imaginable way.
Consisting of a single block of vines at an altitude of 100 metres in Saint-Laurent des Combes, the vineyard overlooks the Crus classés of Châteaux Pavie, Bellefont Belcier and Larcisse Ducasse to the south, bordering Château Tertre Roteboeuf to the east and Troplong Mondot to the west.
