Since 1860, seven generations of winegrowers have perpetuated ancestral skills and know-how. “Heraud and daughters” is sufficiently rare to be called attention to. Here, Cathy works in the vines and cellar, while Sandrine takes care of sales and administration. Both strive to make wines with a very personal feminine feel. Their efforts are regularly recognised in various competitions. The passionate attachment to detail in the 30 hectares (74 acre) vineyard and in the cellar enables every magnificent vintage to express the flavours and values of this remarkable estate.

Château Saint Christoly is located within the very heart of the village after which it named. it dates back to the middle of the 19th century (about 1855). The family has held the same vineyard for seven generations. Their passion and cumulated savour-faire combine to make the wine from Château Saint Christoly a Medoc of fine faulty. Cathy and Sandrine are continuing the tradition as well as assuming modern concepts that reveal an effort to achieve an individual and feminine touch as their vineyard progresses.
