Georges Pauli worked a true tour de force on this property near Pauillac. Thanks to the rigor of this world-renowned winemaker, Château Ramage la Batisse was promoted Cru Bourgeois Supérieur at the last official Crus Bourgeois du Médoc ranking in 2003. The 2010 harvest allowed the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon blend to showcase imposing volume with no lack of freshness, quite the opposite. Ready for the cellar but immediate tasting will reveal accents of tobacco, cassis, cedar, menthol and leather.
