Nose
A fine nose of fresh red raspberry fruit.
Palate
On the palate, the tannins are delicate and the fruit is well melted, velvety, with a nice balance. Firm, structured with solid tannins and polish from partial wood aging. It is dense, the textured black fruits still young.
Growing Conditions
The vineyard of the Château, located in Saint-Sulpice de Faleyrens, South of Saint-Emilion, is composed by gravels and sand drained by the steam “La Fuie”.
A very beautiful vineyard spread over 26 hectares of vines aged 40 years on average.
Harvest
Manual harvest.
Winemaking
We have worked on this second wine so that it will allow you to discover a subtle blend of wines aged in new oak barrels, in aged wine barrels, and in concrete vats. This work led us to a fresh and fruity wine with silky tannins, which is tasted wonderfully in its youth but which can just as well wait a few years.
Appearance
An intense ruby color.
Food Pairing
Enjoy with red meat, cheese and even roasted chicken
