A brief history
Very small family wine estate belonging to the Cazade family since 1912, located in Fossés and Baleyssac in the Entre Deux Mers region. Bernard Cazade took over a 21-hectare vineyard nearby as a life annuity at the age of 19, pursuing his career as a high-level sportsman in motorcycle grand prix competition on both fronts, which earned him the title of five-time French champion in this category. and ranked several times in the world championship. This precious and rewarding time has made it possible to combine high standards and excellence in the production of its wines. This career ended in 2006 and the extension of the vineyard has been going on since 2000, with the organic label set up in 2014.
The vineyard consists of 75 hectares divided into appellation Bordeaux 34 hectares, Bordeaux Organic 20 hectares, Bordeaux Supérieur 14 hectares and 7 hectares in IGP Atlantique. The grape varieties are: 43% Merlot, 28% Malbec, 22% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Syrah and 3% Cabernet Franc.
The production method is based on the production of original and authentic wines, distinguishing itself from the standards of Bordeaux wines, while scrupulously respecting the quality of the vineyard and its organic production with an exemplary respect for the environment and these cultural traditions.
