Winemaking

The wines of Château Les Moines are mainly from Merlot (80%). This is what gives them that flexibility and fruitiness that make them real wines of pleasure.

Cabernet Sauvignon (20%) adds depth, necessary for any good wine, and provides structure, essential to obtain good aging potential.

Here, all the wines are vinified and aged in stainless steel or concrete vats, which allows them to keep the very pure expression of the Blayais terroir on which vines aged 40 to 80 years grow.
