A brief history
"Château Lafleur occupies a unique place in the circle of Bordeaux Grands Crus. This portfolio partly reveals the life of these places, and the spirit of those who animate them."
~ Sylvie and Jacques Guinaudeau
Henri Greloud our great-great-grandfather founded Château Lafleur by buying in 1872, this small estate of 4.5 hectares of vines in one piece. He renovated the vineyard, built the house and the cellars and named this new cru with the name of the place called: Lafleur. Since 1985, we have been fortunate enough to vinify this legendary cru and to be able to share this common passion with our son Baptiste and his wife Julie who joined us in the 2000s. In 2002, we became owners by buying it with our three children.
