Nose
Highly expressive on the nose, fresh and pure, releasing a hint of citrus fruit interweaved with floral notes.
Palate
Taut, lively and very well-balanced on the palate, developing appealing breadth thanks to a touch of Semillon. The bracingly fresh and harmonious finish attests to the great elegance of the mineral character of sauvignon blanc on limestone, typical of Château La Garde white wine.
Harvest
Harvest : manual picking in small crates, plot by plot, in the morning when temperatures are cooler.
Winemaking
Pressing under inert gas (to preserve freshness). Fermentation in oak barrels.
Aging
8 months in oak barrels (12% of which are new) with stirring of the lees.
Appearance
Pale in colour and tinged with green glints.
