Nose

The fresh array of citrus-packed lemon and grapefruit aromas on the complex nose are immediately inviting, accompanied by a typical note of sauvignon on limestone.

Palate

An immediately forthcoming, very direct wine, developing an elegant, crisp character that gains in intensity on the mid-palate and culminates in a long, saline, juicy finish. This is a very great vintage, refined and chiselled.

Harvest

Harvest : manual picking in small crates, plot by plot, in the morning when temperatures are cooler.

Winemaking

12 hours storage in a cold room before pressing the grapes inert gas (to preserve freshness). Alcoholic fermentation in oak barrels. 5% new, and in oak vats.

Aging

Ageing in the same oak barrels and oak vats, on fine lees during 8 months. Stirring of the lees.

Appearance

Magnificent appearance flecked with straw yellow.
