Château La ConfessionChâteau Haut-PontetChâteau Haut Pontet is our second wine from the Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellation. Planted upon a small plot of land on the border with Pomerol, the soil is a mixture of clay, limestone and gravel. The wines are delicate and silky, providing the refinement accompany dishes such as fillet steak ‘Rossini’ with truffled foie gras. The unusually high Merlot blend gives the wine a real roundness and an aromatic palate offering an abundance of ripe red fruits.
