Nose

Tasting (February 17, 2025, root day - Émilien Delalande, oenologist):
First nose of citrus, pomelo, mingling with notes of fresh red fruit, blackcurrant, crushed strawberry. Agitation brings out a wider range of aromas, with citrus notes even more prominent. A fresh, seductive nose.

Palate

Tasting (February 17, 2025, root day - Émilien Delalande, oenologist):
Round on the palate, with a soft attack. The acidity and freshness provide a fine structure and a long finish. The aromas are in line with those on the nose, and the whole is salivating.
This rosé is the perfect accompaniment to aperitifs and summer grills.

Growing Conditions

No grapes in 2024, or so few! So long live the family of Médoc winegrowers. 15 km from home, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, carefully worked and then picked with equal delicacy to be immediately pressed, and then it’s up to us! Vinification at home, each batch in its own vat; the Cabernet Franc, more docile, will finish its fermentation before the Cabernet Sauvignon, which will have to wait a little. Then blind blending: 49% cabernet-sauvignon and 51% cabernet franc allowed us to rediscover the freshness and vivacity, but also the substance, of our Roses de Marie. Regulars recognize them!
