Palate

The taste impressions are essentially focused on the fruit, we often find notes of blackcurrant, blackberry and raspberry , accompanied by fine woody notes which give amplitude in the mouth. The Cabernet Sauvignon brings acidity and freshness which gives a nice length in the mouth.

Growing Conditions

We work in systematic co-planting. The grape varieties are composed of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, and 5% Carmenère, Petit Verot and Malbec , which are old grape varieties and forge the identity of our vintages.

Aging

This wine is aged for 15 months in French oak barrels (50% new barrels) from a small, traditional Médoc cooperage. The Réserve is a wine that will age easily over the decades thanks to its typically tannic Pauillac grape varieties.
