Growing Conditions

The 35-year-old vines are planted on clay-limestone soil on the hillside, thus promoting the ripeness of the berries.

Surface area: 13 ha.

The planting density is approximately 4,500 plants per hectare. We work our soils mechanically and have been practicing sustainable agriculture on the property since 1990.
We carry out short pruning to reduce our yields and obtain the best quality for our berries.

Harvest

40 hectolitres/hectare.

Winemaking

The harvest is carried out at optimal maturity, then we use a sorting table in the cellar and carry out the vinification under controlled temperature depending on the progress of fermentation. We carry out a long 8-week maceration process to produce wines with rich, aromatic color.

Aging

The wine is then aged in oak barrels for 24 months before bottling.
