A brief history
In July 2019, Czech company Chateau Escot Inc. became the new owner of the vineyard. Chateau Escot falls under Redstone Real Estate Ltd.
The main aims of the new owner are to respect the tradition of this company, connect it with the present, and to reconstruct the castle building and the adjacent castle park. Moreover, a rebuild of the technical buildings and a modernisation of used technologies is planned. A key aspect of the new owner’s program is also to expand and restore the castle vineyards.
The new owners wish to continue in the successful production of wonderful wine from the main castle, including Chateau Escot, Cru Bourgeois, and simultaneously to offer new products in the future. They plan to add to the exceptional quality of the vineyards, their ideal soil consistency, perfect selection, cutting edge technology, and finally, the artistry of the castle’s very own oenologist.
