Nose
The nose is characterized by a dominant citrus fruit, notably orange, and also offers notes of pineapple, peach, vanilla and broom mixed with a touch of brioche.
Palate
The attack is powerful, generous and offers good creaminess. A nice freshness appears in the middle of palate accompanied by a suave and dense character, for a remarkably balanced wine. Finally, the typical vivacity of Barsac imposes itself on the finale.
Growing Conditions
An ideal climatology for making a great wine. The very humid spring gave the flower sufficient calm to develop in good conditions.
The summer was exceptionally dry with a little rain over several days in mid-August which encouraged good ripening of the grapes.
Botrytis settled on golden grapes, very ripe when the fog arrived the last week of September. Homogeneous maturation took place very gradually, marked by the development of botrytis. of great purity.
The coolness of the soil is expressed by the vines as they produce this rich, lively wine with its youthful aromas of white blossom, citrus fruit, honey and vanilla.
Harvest
With a large team of harvesters (90 people) we harvested small daily quantities, including exceptional juices.
Eight passages took place from September 30 to November 8.
The exceptional weather conditions at the beginning of November rewarded patience of the technical team. We have an exceptional range in the winery to make a great vintage.
