The characteristic of Château Couhins-Lurton white wines, Cru Classé de Graves, is to be made from Sauvignon only. Our Sauvignon Blanc is grown on a clay-gravel-limestone soil which gives it a lot of freshness and finesse. The wines produced are very aromatic with delicate notes of white fruit, citrus and white flowers. Thanks to this terroir, they have great ageing potential.

Our merlot grown on a clay-gravel terroir, combines power with elegance. The wines are concentrated and silky, with black fruit aromas and very fine tannins, while retaining the freshness that makes them so fine. Our Cabernet Sauvignon, which represents a small proportion of the vineyard, brings a remarkable tannic structure which complements the elegance brought by the Merlot.
