Winemaking
The second wine of Château Boyd-Cantenac comes from a blend of young vines and lots that are deemed more accessible from the harvest, allowing for optimal tasting between five and twelve years.
Lighter and more fruity than the grand vin, it reaches its peak more quickly and is designed for more immediate enjoyment, unlike Château Boyd-Cantenac, which requires a longer aging period to fully express its potential.
The second wine of Château Boyd-Cantenac varies in nuances and character depending on the vintage, while remaining true to the traditional style of Margaux wines: subtle, complex, refined, intense, and elegant.
