The family-run Château Barrail Bellegrave is located in the southern part of the picturesque Saint-Emilion wine region. The name derives from Barrail du Blanc and refers to the pebble soil. The manor was once a typical mixed farm with viticulture and livestock farming. Therefore, the basement is housed in the converted stable and barn buildings. Hermione Descrambes took over the management of her father in 2010. Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes of about 6 hectares of vineyards that surround the winery are the basis for this exquisite red wine. After classical vinification (mash fermentation), the wine matures in barriques, 1/4 of which in new barrels. Château Barrail Bellgrave is an extremely complex and complex red wine.
