Discover the history of our family vineyard near Bordeaux . Château Balac is above all the adventure of passionate winegrowers. The Touchais family, seduced by this magnificent 18th century Charterhouse, has been involved for three generations in this property located in the heart of Haut-Médoc. 
The history of our family vineyard continues with Lionel, grandson of Joseph Touchais. Oenologist graduated from the University of Bordeaux, he took over the estate in 2005, accompanied by his wife Amélie and their two children, Léon and Joseph.
His 10 years of experience abroad (United States, Africa, New Zealand, Romania…) as a “winemaker” allow him to give new impetus to Château Balac.
