A brief history
Château Maine Gazin is a family owned vineyard and winery in the ancient village of Plassac (33390) in the Bordeaux wine region.
Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc are planted to a density of 6,000 vines/ Ha on limestone clay soils. The property slopes North-South and overlooks the Gironde River. The terroir in the area has a long history dating back to the 1st century with the Romans producing wine and shipping out on the Gironde. It is a beautiful location with excellent terroir that receives full sun and where the vines gaze over the Gironde River.
