Nose

Distinctive terroir character immediately shines through on the complex nose, redolent of precious woods and cedar, and supporting black fruit notes of black cherry, cassis and blackberry.

Palate

The wine rapidly grows in stature on the palate, and is generous, concentrated, fruit-laden and spicy, while the remarkable balance enshrouds evident, very fine tannins. Dry and concentrated, the wine culminates in a particularly long, lingering, seductive finish, characterised by hints of cedar and cigar box. A very accomplished Le Boscq wine so typical of this magnificent Saint-Estèphe terroir.

Appearance

Very dark in colour with a garnet sheen.
