A brief history
Aurélius is for the Union of Producers of Saint-Emilion a great ambition and a human and collective adventure. It is also a first because there is no equivalent experience. The Aurélius project is based on the controlled cultivation of selected plots from around twenty selected estates. Each winegrower interprets his score and acts in the vineyard according to the characteristics of the soils and the particular geographical position of each plot. It is supervised and controlled by the UdeP technical team within the framework of very strict specifications. Thus, Aurélius is the first wine entirely representative of all the terroirs of the Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellation, uniting the 8 wine-growing municipalities of the Jurisdiction of Saint-Emilion.
