Growing Conditions
The vineyard grows on a clay-limestone terroir and extends over some 6 hectares planted with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Aging
The wine is aged for 15 months in hake oak barrels renewed three-quarters each year.
Appearance
Château Haut Barrail wine has a dark garnet color.
